Since its founding in 1988, the March of the Living has touched the lives of thousands of young Jewish youth around the world, taking them on a life-changing journey into their heritage. You, too, can participate in this most profound journey.

Spend a week in Poland visiting former sites of Jewish life and learning.

  • Join the March of the Living on Yom Hashoah, and march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, accompanied by 10,000 people from around the word – students, survivors and educators.
  • Hear first-hand testimony from Holocaust survivors in the very places their stories unfolded and, together with them, pledge, “Never Again.”
  • Tour the length and breadth of the land of Israel.
  • Mourn Israel’s fallen soldiers on Yom Hazikaron and celebrate Israel’s independence on Yom Ha’atsmaut.

Poland Itinerary: Includes visits to Warsaw, Krakow and Lublin, as well as the March of the Living on Yom Hashoah from Auschwitz to Birkenau and visits to the former death camps of Treblinka and Majdanek.

Israel Itinerary: Visit both ancient and modern sites in the land of Israel, including Jerusalem, the Western Wall, Tel Aviv, and much more. Join Canadian students in Israel for Israel’s Yom Ha’atsmaut celebrations.

Cost: Poland: $5950 CDN per person. Poland & Israel: $8950 CDN per person. (Participants may choose Poland & Israel, or Poland only). Based on double occupancy, flight from Toronto, excluding tips and taxes, plus up to a 10% price increase in case of dollar fluctuations or other factors. Minimum gift to local UJA/CJA Federation required. Please check with your local Federation.
