To all the participants in the March,
Your time in Poland and Israel is coming to an end, and we fell that through the photos on the web, we have been there with you in spirit. Make the most of your last Shabbt together and we hope the experiences you have shared will form a strong and lasting bond between you. May you all go home to become teachers, to inform and give over your knowledge to all the rest of your communities, the Jewish and non Jewish alike, so the world will be assured that there can never be another Shoah, and that the world never forgets.
Shabbat Shalom, and may you all travel home in safety.
Gerald, Minna, Yael and Yoni Johnson (Sydney)

To Jonathan Klein of Toronto and all Marchers,
We are travelling vicariously with you. We followed your sad, moving and chilly experience in Poland. Now that you are in Israel, we can see that the sun is shining (some of the time) and there is food to eat that is worthy of being photographed.
This is a uniquely Jewish experience for you and the rest of the marchers. We look forward to seeing more photos. We hope that you will tell us all the details, with the photos to prompt your memory.
We love you, Mom, Dad, Solomon and Benjamin

Dear Daniel,
Your experiences in Poland and Israel with the many new friends and old ones too, will remain with you forever. The feelings that you felt, the sites that you saw, the history that you learned, and the friends that you have made should be cherished. Enjoy the last few days in Israel and your weekend in Sfad. It was great hearing your gravelly voice on the phone tonight. Give our love to your aunts, uncles and cousins when they visit you tomorrow. See you at Mirabel on Monday early....
love mom, dad, Elie, Brahm and Sparky. Marla called from St. Thomas and sends her love also. |

Dear Shan,
We started this trip by sending you a fax.... Until we found this web site to which we immediately connected to "religiously" every night (and morning at times); so, in addition to faxes and phone calls, we could see you! On the site we found out we could also write you "souvenir messages" and the whole family at large, sent you its love and kisses. Of course, because we are sharing people we also shared this site with your best friends in Montreal and shared it lately with the Israeli chain of friends as well as all your phone numbers at all the hotels you're staying in Israel. This is what WE will remember of YOUR trip and I wanted to share it with you before I forget :-)

Hi Kat,
As we've followed this wonderful trip you are a part of through the web, we have noticed that in the few pictures you are on you appear to be in deep thought. Sometimes in sadness, sometimes in awe. We assume that this trip must make you appreciate and realize, a little more if you already do, what it is to be jewish. What you are doing for the kids on this trip is very brave and very strong... As your best friends, we know from experience that your support has always been of great quality and we are certain that the support you are offering these young jews is very appreciated and very good. Being a psycholagist may be a very difficult task, but it certainly does have its perks.
Love,
Florence & Felli. |
